So, though it's not a burning all-consuming rage, I've always been kind of annoyed that Rose (Raiden's girlfriend in MGS2) exists. She's nagging, annoying, intrusive, lying and manipulative...

... but in a cycle of inspiration, my B.B. journal (blackboard_hax) inspired firefly99 to make 3djiggle inspired me to make rosemaryandtime. And after introducing her to fissionmailed, I... don't hate her any more.

I'm actually growing kind of fond of her.

And have drawn her in my sketchbook. Twice.

... huh. I should RP characters I dislike more often.

Also, making her icons? WAY too much fun. Especially the codec ones; despite the annoyingly intrusive scan lines, they actually look pretty good.

So I've recently become interested in "dressing room" RPs.

Which are total lulz-tastic crack.

And I found out about this one called fissionmailed for MGS.

Oh my god, that ending... MPO is still a better game, but the ending to MGA² makes me feel mushy and happy and yay. :D SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS GAME.

( Here there be dragons. And by dragons, I mean spoilers for the credits and post-credit cutscene. )

Thirdly: I actually like the plot of this one a lot better than I did MGA's. I liked this one better than MGA all around, though, so I'm not too surprised; the interface was a lot friendlier, and while the game-proper feels shorter, there's enough extras to more than make up for it (the arena, and the Solid Eye stuff-- though I don't have a Solid eye thingy, the movies are still fun to watch; MGS3 movies in Japanese sound STRANGE, in a cool way. I'm also not objecting to the other type of videos. XD;; ); I don't feel particularly deprived by having a slightly shorter game. (If it actually WAS shorter, that is; it may just be that it feels that way because MGA could get so tedious.) The utter lack of a half-hour infodump after I'd supposedly finished the game didn't hurt; instead, the exposition was spread through the last four or so levels, and made a decent amount of sense.

And finally, I still don't get Dr. What's-her-face's outfit. XD What the hell, lady, that's what you wear to work every day?

Anyway. Good game is good. I'd play MGA³ if they ever made on, if the quality stayed up here. AND IF IT HAD DALTON why is he so suddenly awesome >:.
